Hi. My name is Lori. I live in Cleveland Ohio. I joined this site because a good DJ spreads herself around plus, my cable company did something to my WiFi and I can’t get Mixcloud to play. Sooooo, here I am. I have been a pro for a little over a year. Been spinning for about 3 years. Always wanted to spin. Grew up in the 70s and was a teen in the 80s. The music was the best back then. Follow me and share me please.

2x Stanton ST-150 Digital Turntables 2x Pioneer CDJ-1000 Mk3 CD Players 1x Pioneer DJM-600 Mixer 1x Korg KP-1 Kaoss Pad Pair of Sennheiser HD25 headphones Numark Mixtrack Pro Traktor 2 Pro Loadsa Tunnel Trance Force Loadsa DJ Networx Everything from progressive electro to Hard Dance...plenty of psy trance too! You'll hear most genre's of house music eminating from my speakers... Bedroom DJ since 2001. Played out on a good few occasions at mates birthday parties and a few times in Addlestone at a mates pub. Every other weekend I can be found bangin out my newest tunes at my mates place in Bromley....where the neighbours never sleep!! I love my old school tunes...Tori Amos - Professional Widow, Josh Wink - Higher State of Consciousness, Kernkraft 400 - Zombie Nation... To name but a few... I have a lot of time for the German techno sounds, hence the love affair with DJ Networx and Tunnel Trance Force. The older stuff of theirs is absolutely brilliant. I started off, as a lot of dj's do, listening mainly to hard house, heading out to the gay clubs in Cape Town cos that was where we could find our weekly dose of hard-as-nails house music. I moved to London in 2000, and my 1st party was The Fridge nightclub, Escape from Samsara. This became a regular start to the weekend, with a crowd unparalleled at any other event i've been to. Always a top evening. I started dj'ing in 2001 on a set of Gemini PT2000 Mk1's, and they stayed with me for many years. In 2002 I tried cd mixing for the 1st time on a mates pair of Pioneer cdj-100's. By now the bug had truely bitten and I was amazed at how simple the cd's were compared to the vinyls. I bought myself some Sony PS-DJ9000's, and they would be my turntables til 2007, when I finally saved up the cash for my Stanton's. By now I'd gotten into my cd mixing a bit more and in 2007 I bought myself a set of Pioneer cdj-200's which were faithful servants until this week, June 2009, when I decided quality would win out over the effects the 200's had on offer, so i upgraded to a pair of Pioneer CDJ 1000's. What an amazing set of dex! The quality and precision is brilliant. At the beginning of 2011 i packed up and left London, in search of a new challenge in life, and unfortunately had to sell all of my gear in the process. It was sad seeing all of my equipment and vinyls sold off to fund my travels, but i knew that at sum point in the future i would have the means to purchase more equipment.Xmas 2012 i received a present from my mates in London, a brand new limited edition white Numark Mixtrack Pro controller. It was a little strange getting used to a controller and Traktor software, but i am absolutely loving being able to mix again! After almost 2 years of not having the opportunity, my enthusiasm knows no bounds! Music is something you feel. It is something you cannot get taught how to appreciate. It just flows through you, fills you up, and explodes out of you in a rhythm of dance.... Dj'ing is the art of imperceivably threading together the melody and rhythm of 2 or more different tunes in such a way as to create an entirely new sound that is pleasing to the ear... I strive to create this appreciation in every set I mix... DJ Networx Tunnel Trance Force Technikal Tiesto Infected Mushroom Astrix Guitars on Mushrooms Skazi Leftfield

2 X CDJ 400's and djm 600 with 2 x KRK Rokit 6 monitors. Sennheiser HD125 and a Onkyo receiver 2 big KEF speakers. To much to list. Something of everything but "garage, hip hop , r&b" is a NO GO!!!! to me. Like downloading new stuff on regular basis. Get bored quickly if mixing same stuff over and over. Lived in London for last 3 years. I live for music and been partying seriously for the last 15 years. Met my best mate in London at a finger party who happened to be a DJ. He got me going at a party we went to at he's house and whallaaaaa I got bitten by the little bug. For the last 1 and 1/2 years we have been mixing at house party's together and frienships have just got pioneered. I got my logo designed and created a couple of cd's. Currently mixing with 2 X cdj 200's and a DJM 600. In the prosses of buying 2 X cdj 400's. My moto is "If you not into it for the love of music. ;Would you please F*&^%$ off". ; Listen to various but mainly mix Hard House , Hard Dance and German Trance. Favourite artists . BK , Nick Sentience , Technical , Anne Savage , Lisa Lashes , Tidy Boys , Paul Glazby , Andey Farley , Ben Stevens

Ableton Live 6 Don't DJ Hey there. My name's Rowan Canute and I'm a 30 year old from the South of England. At the age of 15 I discovered electronic music and started going to endless trance parties in London. In 2001 I began experimenting with hardware synthesizers along side my studies, until the decision was made to intertwine the two which lead to a BA (HONS) degree in Music Production. While studying in Brighton, I began DJing as The BFG at local events such as Enlightenment, 180 degrees and XS. After a few years of gaining valuable knowledge in the art of producing I decided to concentrate solely on mixing my own tracks. Since then I've played my music at a few parties in the South of England alongside innovative UK talent such as OOOD, Psymmetrix, Error Corrective and Compressor. In 2008 I released a track called Planet Earth on SunDance records (Australia) and in the last couple of years i have been organising the release of a debut album. Neuromotor, Error Corrective, Rinkadink, Space Monkey, Azax Syndrom, Bliss, Hydraglyph, EVP
